Hike to Lipton's seat

A popular thing to do in the Ella region, Lipton’s seat is a view point with one of the most breathtaking views in Sri Lanka. Located in a tea estate, high in the mountains, Lipton’s Seat was a favourite look out point of Sir Thomas Lipton, a pioneer of Ceylon Tea, when surveying his vast Tea Plantations. This is a moderately difficult trek that can easily be customised to be easier or more challenging.
