This is a very simple trek with a lot of immersive interaction with local villagers and farmers and is thus a very family friendly activity in the Ella region.
A Family Friendly Ella Trek
Our community visit begins with a visit to an ancient Buddhist temple in Ella, before proceeding through vegetable plantations growing tomatoes, carrots, beetroot and a variety of local greens. You will trek along a lush hill country landscape and paddy field. At the end of the trek, an optional village lunch can be arranged where you will be taken to a village home and eat an authentic home made lunch with a local family.
