Community Farm and Village Visit

Immerse yourself in the local culture with a scenic hike through a local agricultural community in Ella. You will trek through lush vegetable plantations where you will be able to interact with friendly local farmers as they work on their crops.  This is a very simple trek with a lot of immersive interaction with local villagers and farmers and is thus a very family friendly activity in the Ella region.

A Family Friendly Ella Trek

Our community visit begins with a visit to an ancient Buddhist temple in Ella, before proceeding through vegetable plantations growing tomatoes, carrots, beetroot and a variety of local greens. You will trek along a lush hill country landscape and paddy field. At the end of the trek, an optional village lunch can be arranged where you will be taken to a village home and eat an authentic home made lunch with a local family.
